Patios

Patios add form and function to any yard, and can expand the usage of your yard.  Whether you need a place to put a small table and chairs for two or an outdoor kitchen to entertain hundreds at a time, we can work with you to design a pleasing shape and material for your patio.

 

Once you have a shape designed of your patio we will lay it out for you in the field for final approval of the shape prior to the installation process.

 

We use a variety of materials in constructing patios, walkways, and stairs.  The least expensive options are concrete and pavers.  Mid-range materials are upgraded pavers and artificial stone.  The higher end patio will be a natural stone which has its own price range, but is very attractive and beautiful.

 

Pavers

Pavers have become a very popular material for patios, walkways and driveways.  Pavers are made of concrete and come in a variety of colors and styles.  They are generally very cost effective and a basic paver can go for a similar price per square foot as concrete.  They do not need a concrete base and can be installed on sand with a thick layer of base rock beneath.  

 

An advantage of pavers is that if a patch of the paver get depressed, or lifted from , the affected area can be re-laid flat without having to redo the entire area.

 

Another advantage to pavers is they do not require a concrete base, allowing a small amount of water through to the soil beneath.  This is a great solution for those who want a more environmentally conscious landscape.

 

Driveways

Driveways are a distinguishing part of a front yard no matter what size they are.  The driveway is a landscape feature that needs to be functional and attractive.

 

Usually driveways are constructed out of concrete or concrete pavers.   We can also arrange for your concrete to be stamped or colored.  Colored concrete can be quite attractive although the color may vary slightly from the shade you choose.  We also do aggregate rock in the concrete, such as pami pebble.
